Connection Details Of CardVend Controller Board

 

All trials of this controller have been conducted with a Asahi Seiko 24 Volt Card Vendor and a Smiley NV2/4 Note Reader (& 12V AstroSys, Parallel, GBA Note Validator). The board will most probably drive other makes and models, but we do not guarantee this. We cannot enter into correspondence about other combinations, sorry. The board incorporates the power supply to drive both units. The input can be 18VAC +/- 10% or 24VDC +/- 10%, the power requirement is 2 Amps. The connections are shown below.
